USA SUMMER CAMPAIGN - UPDATE #8

Greg arrived in Grandby, Canada, just east of Montreal, treating a very sore right arm, which was giving him trouble when serving, so we were surprised that he was playing in the doubles at Granby, which is a $50,000+H Challenger tournament.
Partnered by fellow Aussie Bryden Klein they did not get the best of the draw, up against the No.1 seeds, the Thai twins Sanchai and Sonchat Ratiwatana in the 1st round. Greg had played and beaten the twins with Adam Feeney just two weeks ago in Aptos, so would be confident for the match.
Greg said they played well but Bryden's serving let them down. In a very close match in which both teams had the same amount of opportunities, the Thai team coverted 3 of their break chances while Greg and Bryden could only get 1 out of the 5 opportunities, Bryden dropping his serve 3 times in a 4-6, 3-6 loss to the No.1 seeds.
At least it will give Greg's arm some time to repair.
