Greg did not start well and quickly found himself a break down, dropping a further break of serve to trail 5-1, Kendrick winning the 1st set 6-1.Greg rallied and went a break up early to lead 3-1. A further break of serve to Greg and he had the set 6-2.
But another come from behind win was not to eventuate, with Kendrick upping the ante and taking the game to Greg, going a double break up to win the 3rd set 6-1 and the match 6-1, 2-6, 6-1.
Greg and Rubin, who also lost his 2nd round match today, take on the No.1 seeds later today in the doubles 2nd round.
